I began my career back in 1996 and after being a hair styllist for a few years, I quickly moved up in the ranks from salon manager to district manager of eight (yes, eight!) salons.
I successfully managed 55 employees and had eight direct reports, all while taking the chain to a 20% profit in the very first year for all eight stores. This time in my career was critical to my growth as I quickly learned how to create and maintain a sustainable brand, strong profit margins, and motivated team members. From there I was invited to be part owner and manager of a chain of salons in West Palm Beach, Florida with my 2 mentors.

Hi I’m Nina
I am a former stylist of 20 years and salon owner of 11 years turned international business coach, motivational speaker and The Business Education Ambassador for Oligo Professionnel. I’m an East Coast native, born and raised in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania (the Christmas City) currently living my best life in Santa Monica, CA.
The part that not enough people talk about…
It wasn’t all easy breezy. Alongside all the sparkle and shine was a woman struggling to stay afloat.
By the end of my first year in business, I had $800 left in my account…
I was a salon owner with $90K debt and almost closed my business twice before year 5 . But when the creditors started calling ready to remove all my salon furniture, the only option I had left was to sell my home to KEEP my salon business.
But the story
doesn’t end there
That’s not the end of my story– as you know, because here I am!
I was able to turn my business around. And from year 6, I was seeing 20-30% growth year over year, and bringing in an average of 17-23% profit. My team grew exponentially, and when I eventually did sell my salon in 2016, it was because I wanted to… and because it was the best time with my profit margin being at an all time high.
This is my goal for you. Listen.. I know being a salon owner can feel lonley and scary. But if I can get out of the mess I made for myself, you can too! I share my mistakes so I can help you avoid them. My mission is to pour into you and your business like it’s my own. From the good times, the bad times and anywhere in between.

-I am a trained dancer! Yes it’s true. ! am a trained ballet dancer and Latin Ballroom dancer. You can catch me dancing all over and I often love to incorporate dancing into my –you’ve been warned!
-As much as I love to dance, my true passion is giving back to my community and leading future stylists and salon owners on their path to high-vibe Salon and Stylist success.
-I was a finalist for NAHA Educator of the Year in 2023!
-I love dogs! Well all animals period. My husband and I have fostered dogs before and I enjoy volunteering at local animal shelters in my down time.
-I was named Honoree of the year for Modern Salon in 2023.
